A friend of mine would like to build a 9.3x64 on his '03 Springfield action. Anybody here know where he could obtain such a barrel?

Just had 9.3x74R done on my Ruger #1. According to the gentleman who did the work, it started out as a Douglas blank which he milled full octagonal. I don't know if they make contoured barrels in 9.3. I would suggest contacting them (douglas) to find out.

Jerry, I got a Pac Nor last summer for a 9.3. I have chambered it for a 9l3 x 64 also and did the barrel half round/half octagon on a Legacy Mauser action.
