Guys,
Did Sako make actions for Anschutz? Found a 222Rem with Sako-Anschutz 1530 stamped on the barrel. Handles great, wondering what their history is.
Cheers...

Con ,
Think you may have an Anschutz that has been rebarrelled with a Sako barrel ?

The hunting imperative was part of every man's soul; some denied or suppressed it, others diverted it into less blatantly violent avenues of expression, wielding clubs on the golf course or racquets on the court, substituting a little white ball for the prey of flesh and blood.

Bushchook,
Don't think so, stampings look factory clean, plus proof marks, plus "Bofors". Action appears to be an L46. I'm not a Sako expert so its interesting ... and cheap !

Had another look tonight. Both barrel and sction is stamped Sako - Anschutz, with the barrel carrying the model number as well; 1532.
Definately a L46 action in 222Rem, with detachable magazine, square bolt shroud, mag release in the trigger guard. Shame it needs a rebarrel, otherwise it would be coming home.
Cheers...
