The David Miller Co., composed of David Miller and Curt Crum, is a custom rifle shop building best quality bolt action rifles only. All guns are built per individual custom order and the company should be contacted directly for more information and price quotations. All currently crafted rifles from the David Miller Co. are made using highly modified and finished Winchester Model 70 Super Grade actions or, on rare occasion, a Weatherby Mark V action. Two models of rifles are crafted in the Miller shop, the Classic and the Marksman. The Classic is the top-of-the-line in custom bolt action rifles available today and is priced starting at $38,000. The Marksman is equally well constructed but without many of the very labor intensive features and is standard with a laminated wood stock rather than top quality walnut. The Marksman is intended as a serious hunting rifle and has a starting price of $18,000. The waiting period for either the Classic or the Marksman is about 2-1/2 years. Very few genuine Miller rifles ever appear on the used gun market. At the 2004 Safari Club International annual convention, an early David Miller Co. custom rifle, crafted around a much modified and refined Mauser G33/40 action and chambered for the .30-06 cartridge, equivalent to today�s Classic rifle, sold used for $24,000."
