Don’t know whether these were on backorder for very long, but I just received word that my order from 8/25/06 was filled and delivered to my gunsmith last week. If you’re looking for a Blackburn trigger, now might be a good time to get one. New price is $100 retail. CNC Specialty Products, Inc. Just passing this information along. Cheers, - stu

Stu, happy you got your (long awaited?) goodies. Is this a Mauser trigger?? That was the only trigger reference I could spot on the Blackburn website you listed. Or do they also make other triggers?? Any idea what the trigger will safely adjust down to in terms of pull weight?? Any particular reason you chose this trigger vs a Timney, say?? - mike ********************* The rifle is a noble weapon... Mike, 1. Yes, Mauser trigger. As far as I know it’s the only trigger Blackburn makes 2. Sorry, don’t know. As you’ve seen, my hunting rifles have circa. 3# pull weights. Not exactly challenging for a good trigger, so I haven’t made the inquiry about pull weight adjustment. 3. I’ve been buying Blackburn products for a few years now and never fail to be impressed by their quality. With Blackburn I’m getting an all machined steel unit. I’m not sure this is true of a Timney.
