Purchased a 21H receiver square bridge, actually everything there but the bolt, double triggers and all,in the white, like new . Now the adventure begins, I believe it will be the basis of an interesting rifle and something to occupy my mind as I search for all the necessary parts. Why the bolt is missing one can only speculate but I believe a 98 bolt will work. I'm thinking perhaps a 9.3x57 with a full lenght stock. I already have 21H in 7x57 so it would sort of add to the collection. I would be interested in hearing what some of the members here would do having this opportunity and moderate resources? --- John303.

Maybe a .257 Roberts. For the barrel I would go very petite custom turned 20"-22" and do one of those banded rear sight bases and a fast transition contour to the shank like on the old Mannlicher schoenauer rifles.

with a banded front sight and one of those soldered on (not banded) barrel swivel studs. A nice 3-postion saftey and Timney featherweight trigger. A Halfmoon Ordendorf style bolt handle and replace the bottom metal. Grind the rear tang down and put it in a nice piece of walnut, then rust blue it.

I know you said limited funds but what fun is that. Wait until you can afford to do it right. That's a nice action.

Did anyone ever see ForrestB's .270 21H after it was finished? That was a sweet looking rig from what I saw.

Thankyou all for posting, knew there was quite a BRNO fan club out there. I was hoping that some pics. would show up especially the customs. It would be nice to have them all (untouched, modified and customs) all in one place for us to enjoy. Nice rifle GG. --- John 303.

Terry,

I saw it and am having Duane Wiebe build me one as well - the only thing different will be the stock blank. The Ralf Martini octagon to round barrel with full length rib barrel is sitting in Duane's shop right now.
