I am looking for a weaver style mount to fit on an RSM .458Lott so that I can put my EOTech on it for a tuskless Ele hunt. I've checked the usual sources with no luck. Any suggestion? Mike ______________ DSC DRSS (again) SCI Life NRA Life Sables Life Mzuri IPHA "To be a Marine is enough."

For my Burris fastfire 2 I purchased the Burris fastfire mount for a Ruger 1. They also make them for the Ruger 77 and other makes of receiver ring mounts. I seem to recall seeing a mount for ruger 77 to weaver rail in Brownells perhaps. BTW the Burris fastfire seems to hold up well on the DG rifles and it is smaller and less obtrusive than the EOTech reflex sights I've seen. I emailed Burris Monday and they replied that their adapter would not work. Mike ______________ DSC DRSS (again) SCI Life NRA Life Sables Life Mzuri IPHA "To be a Marine is enough."

+1 And I can remember thinking, "why?" At least now I understand. Jason "You're not hard-core, unless you live hard-core." _______________________ Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt. Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure. -Jason Brown

Jason, These are the Burris adapters I asked Buriss about and to which they replied "NO". Anybody know anything else? Mike ______________ DSC DRSS (again) SCI Life NRA Life Sables Life Mzuri IPHA "To be a Marine is enough."
