I have a Mk II .338 Stainless and a Tang Safety .30/06. I need a spare scope for my .30/06 for a trip in July. Can I mount the scope from the Mk II on the Tang Safety without moving the scope rings on the scope?

I would, of course, need to sight in the moved scope on the .30/06.

unless the tang safety is a round top, yes, you can move it over and rezero. I don't know (haven't tried it) if the spacing is exactly the same
