Gents,

Does the Browning Stainless Stalker, chambered in 375HH, have enough metal at the chamber and muzzle to allow it to be rebored to the new 400HH? It's a left handed gun, and I would like to keep it.

Roger,

The chamber should be OK although the barrel would need to be set back since the shoulder on the 400 H&H starts much further back than the 375 H&H. You might need a half inch or so cut from the barrel.

A 416 Remington would clean up the 375 chamber easily.

I imagine the barrel might be a bit thin as aren't those Brownings very light in 375?

Dear Mike375:
Didn't they take ALL your guns away from you in Australia?

Semi auto rifles and shotguns with some exceptions suchas beinga memeber of a clay targte club and also pump action shotguns are no more.

As to the rest you have then as big as you like and as many as you like, at least for now [Frown]
