I have a 22-250, Mohawk600 that was rebarreled before I got it. It has a heavy fluted Remington barrel on it now..about 25 inches long. While this rifle shoots really well, it is awful to carry and the balance is horrible. I'm considering rebarreling it, and assumed that a 308 or 7mm08 would work fine...but found out that the 308 will not fit in the mag well properly...it works fine as a 22-250.... Were these 600's made with different size mags? I thought they would work with just about any of the .308 based cartridges... The way it looks right now, my options for rebarreling are pretty limited... Z | ||
