I have a Stevens 200 that won't shoot at all. I had some fair luck with sierra hp game kings but nothing else like 1009 grns or 90's or 95 Nosler bt's even comes close to a group. What twist rate did savage put in the rifles ? and how much of a difference would it make. This is the second one of these rifles I've had in .243 and the first one wouldn't shooyt either !

It's not the twist rate, it's something else.

Check that the front guard screw is tight and that the scope mount screws are also. Then switch the scope if that does not work.

If all that fails call up Savage on the phone and start out the conversation nice. If they don't offer to take the rifle back and fix it then ask them again in a firm manner.
