If so, can someone recommend someone to do this job for me?

Thanks in advance!

That's only a difference of .015. That's the thickness of 5 sheets of type paper. Well within the capability of a gun owner/tinkerer.

Rear sights need to fit fairly snug and so you want them to be a little over sized to start. And since you can probably accomplish what you need by fitting the sight to the existing dovetail, you shouldn't screw anything up that can't be easily undone.

I don't know how mechanical you are but if you have the desire to fit that sight yourself, PM me and I will walk you through it.

Easy peesy lemon squeezy. A few minutes with a 60-degree file or better yet a dovetail file and you're in like Flyn.

Hey Malm, what's typing paper?

Thanks for the help guys; I really appreciate it. thumb I ordered the sight and a 60 degree file from Midway. Maybe I won't screw it up so badly that it can't be fixed. Smiler
