Have one that's going down the rd. Just need to touch up some areas on the barrel. What is the best agent to use to produce a nice black? Something just in a rub-on product.

Thanks,
A.

I just picked up a tube of Birchwood Casey's Perma Blue Paste. It comes in a 2 oz tube and works great. Rub it on with a cloth or Q-Tip and wash off in 60 seconds. A few applications and it's perfect.

Ditto on the Birchwood Casey's blue. Either the paste or the Perma Blue liquid will do the job when applied properly.
