Duane, is there any chance that you could repost the pics another way in this thread on making it feed

It is one of the most important aspects of a rifle build and your threaad is an invaluable resourse that many hold in their saved folders as I do.
I am sure I am not the only one who would apreciate having it refreshed with the original pics.
Most grateful if you can do this for us.

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

Are the pics available on the thread? (I couldn't find it.)

Photobucket has screwed a LOT 'How To' threads on dozens of forums all over the internet.

I had that thread saved to my favorites. It was the very BEST tutorial I've ever read on stock making from the blank. Always intended to save the pictures, but now there all gone...

If there is anyway to fix, it would be greatly appreciated.

Mad damn Photobucket !

coffee I moved all of my photos to Flickr, but it's a temporary fix to the problem. Eventually the rest of the free share sites will follow suit when they realize that photobucket doesn't need to give their services away and just survive on advertising. A lot of the forums today host their own photos. But it comes at the expense of server space. At least their threads will remain intact for as long as they keep the forums running.

If you want, you can save the threads to any word processor, photos and all. For those that can't afford Word-perfect or Microsoft Word, you can download Apache OpenOffice which is free to all and is actually pretty powerful. Then just save your favorite threads as standard document files.

When I was a kid. I had the stick. I had the rock. And I had the mud puddle. I am as adept with them today, as I was back then. Lets see today's kids say that about their IPods, IPads and XBoxes in 45 years!

I did make a booklet (with Baxter B's expert editing.) They are available @ $24.00.

I think we are talking about two postings...the stockmaking was another. There is a disc available on that one, I believe. Try Forrest B for info on the disc.

My apologies. Von Gruff was indeed talking about your cartridge conversion thread... However, my mind went to the Stockmaking thread !

My compliments to you Duane, as BOTH threads were very informative. The Stockmaking thread was the best I have ever come across and has certainly helped me.

Any contact info for the disc that's available ?
