I was looking at buying a CZ 550 with a shortened bbl. 21". It looks like the original front sight was used again and the bbl was turned down for the last inch or so. The sight seems 'off' in the pictures. I am trying to get more info. If this gun has this problem with the sight can it be fixed. Bigger front sight or will it be a 19" bbl.

Measure barrel OD at each sight and height of each sight. Take half each OD and add to respective sight height. They should be the same with rear sight at lowest setting. If not, Brownell's catalog has what you need.
