Magnum Hunter1It still doesn't look any better than it did. "Form follows function" they say but form is waaaaay behind right now. I am glad however to see another US gun maker in business. Best of luck to A-Square.

22WRFSo, do I understand correctly that they are making 1917 Enfield actions there?
27 December 2010, 22:00
TC1Last I heard A-Square was a rusting steel shed in the middle of the desert and a bunch of folks were pissed at Art for some reason or another. I guess times have changed.
Have they?

He did say "100% made in Glenrock".

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.
Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

Idaho SharpshooterI would have thought that he would have been in touch with MRC and used their PH action for his Big (literally) Rifles.
Makes you wonder what the pricing is going to be...?
Rich

Art S.I hadn't seen a walnut stock with a maple fore end tip since the 1972 Herter's catalog. It might inspire me to build one.
