I can see inletting and shaping with a duplicator, but, what about the guard screw holes? How would those be drilled? | ||

same way you just change cutter to drill bit. No matter where you go or what you do there you are! Yes tis true and tis pity but pity tis, tis true. | |||

On a 5 axis machine you can line the drill bit up with the hole. On a basic 4 axis the guide and cutter move in an arc so getting a prefectly straight hole is difficult. Cut the mouth and use a drill or press to cut the rest. As usual just my $.02 Paul K | |||
