I'm going to get one built, will be using a custom made reamer with a tighter neck. What I'm stuck on is how much freebore. This will be mainly for 50-55gr bullets. Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

If you are not going to use heavy bullets [55 and under] I have had all my reamers in the last 4 or 5 years with very little freebore or none at all. I would go a max. of 10 to 15 thou. freebore. Again for the lighter bullets.

Thanks for the reply. The reamer maker suggested 100 thousands of freebore. Sounded like an awful lot to me.

I guarantee that you will hate the cartridge before you are through.
