Anybody ever re-barrel a styer SSG?

I understand that the Styer SSG is a barrel that is "shrunk" into the reciever, any body heard of a re-barrel job?

No but I have heard someone ruined their SSG barrel by cryo it.

I have one, nice gun. I don't think it is possible to rebarrel it though.

I believe I heard that rebarrelling a Steyr was a "back to the factory" proposition.
