Alberta CanuckThere likely IS an action firing system powered by Belleville washers made here in the USA, but if so, I am not familiar with it.
There is, However, an English action which is/was used a lot in high-power, long-range match shooting world-wide which is powered by them...it is the English RPA. they also make/made the Quad-lite single-shot match action. It has 4 large front locking lugs, but uses a conventional spring to power its firing pin.
