No, only for Husqvarna commercial firearms.

lb404,
I’m sure if Tom Burgess tailors your Mauser actions, the will be as good or maybe superior than a Hartman & Weiss.
Lon Paul does a good job as well.

Success,

The barreled action was made in 1951. Most likely it was originally a US model '51 Hi-Power, but impossible to know without the original stock. The serial number on the barrel instead of the action is correct for a Husqvarna rifle.

Thanks a lot. that helps a bunch. Now, if I can chase down an original stock somewhere, I'll be in hawg heaven. Right now, I have it sitting in a J.C. Higgin Model 50 stock. I think I'd like to restore it to like new if I can. Again, thanks for the date.

I think they should all be surface ground especially if you are going to use QD rings, that will insure return to zero...

Surface grinding gets everyhthing square to the world, and thats the best start to a proper custom rifle...A bunch of factory guns could use this treatment as opposed to shims that create stresses in the base, rings and scope.....
