Hi I have a mauser 98 and the bolt sticks
When you lift the bolt handle and
start to slid the bolt back
it hangs up for a second the slides back
Any ideas ???

Does it do this when dry cycling or only after you have fired a round? If after firing it could be something as simple as polishing the chamber. I have had one where the bolt root would not hit the cam in the rear bridge to give initial extraction force.

Yes, one of about 25 things; I can tell if I see them. Check the bolt shroud on wood. And the clearance of the bolt to receiver ring; once clear of those two things the bolt is free.
