When I was selling shotguns, I was surprised at how often customers buying Beretta shotgun products had trouble with loose front sights. I recently bought my daughter her first shotgun, a Franchi Instinct L 20-gauge over-and-under. She is just thrilled with it, but after putting a couple of boxes of shells through it, she reports her front sight is loose. Without dealing with the glacially slow customer service at Beretta, is there a simple way to cure this? Time is of the essence, as she has a Nebraska bird hunt coming up on Labor Day. I was thinking epoxy for a short-term fix. The optic sight harness is apparently staked, not threaded. There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t. – John Green, author | ||
