Can a current production Howaby Vanguard that is chambered in 300 WBY, be rebarreled to 375 H&H or 416 Remington?
Any potential problems that may crop up with such a project?

Seems like a straightforward rebarrel.

Thanks

I have considered that project myself. I think you are dead on. Straight rebarrel job. I believe the 300 wby is based on 375 H&H brass.

Yes it does and the stumbling block to me is the metric threads.....some lathes can do it and some cannot.

You might be able to buy a pre threaded and chambered barrel and just "fit" it.

The only "problem" with metric threads is it just takes a little longer because you got to change some gears around, actually only one on my lathe. Just did a Howa for a guy.
