I am thinking about changing my blind magazine Winchester Model 70 to a hinged floor plate. Does anyone know where I can find the parts? Also, are there nuances or quirks in trying to do this that I should be aware of? Edit: This is for a WSSM action, so can I use the short action floor plate, or do I have to go with the super short version? or Williams. I did a Win. M670 Carbine (economy M70) with williams and a ramline stock. It dropped right in. http://gunloads.com/clients/william/store/index.php?cPath=32 | |||

I went to the Winchester web site and looked through their parts catalog, and I did not notice a floor plate for the WSSM action specifically just a long and short actions. We'll a short action floor plate work with the WSSM? I would measure myself, but I do not have a short action to measure against.
