Have a friend that's son wants Rem 700 cerecoated who does this? and I would assume he wants it baked on!!

Cerecoat, and other trade named "coatings" are basically overpriced PAINT. Some two part and some one part, some baked on and some not, but it is all still paint and is applied the same; surface prep is very important. Abrasive blasting is best. You can do it yourself for a fraction of the cost that some places get for it. Disassemble your rifle; blast with aluminum oxide abrasive of your choice, spray, and if you choose the bake on type, it is very easy in your oven or gas grill. It is as easy as painting anything else. Brownells has several types available.
