Mr Mcbride bouught most of Sidney's guns when he got real sick. He was a machinest at Berqstrum AFB before he retired and died in the 80s. He augmented his income by bluing guns. Sidney had a deal with a conductor on a train that ran from Austin through Georgia where the conductor picked up and returned the gun in about a week. For $5 a gun he would clean, fix, and blue the gun in time for the return trip. I was always amazed at his ingenuity in finding fixes for broken guns. I wish I paid more attention to the wildcats he made with his buddies in the fifties and wonder where those guns ended up.
