Is it difficult to get a Mauser 98 to eat Magnum cases? Or should I buy a Savage?

The Winchester family of standard magnums is a piece of cake. Up to 375 H&H and its family, not much of a problem. 416 Rigby's have been done, but I wouldn't want to try it.

MauserKinder,
you can stay with a 98, goto www.charlesdaly.com and look at there actions, that are available for your. Brownells carries them as well, and resounabley priced. You can get a short mag, long mag (375hh) or shorter. In think the max oal length is 3.65 standard.

Mauserkid,

It is just a matter of time and money. The gunsmiths time and your money.
