Just got back the action yesterday.. I was sort of disappointed it took so long.. they indicated that they had to write me a letter not recommending the use of that action...

however, one gentlemanly thing Ruger did that I have to give them credit for...

even though I declined their replacement offer, their letter indicated that they recorded the serial number and If I ever changed my mind, they will still offer me a new rifle at the price quoted, without an expiration period on the offer....

so I give Ruger a big thumbs up on that one...
