I have a couple CZ action questions.

Can a CZ action that had been a 6.5X55 be used for an 06 based case or would there be too much play on the bolt face?

Can a basic non magnum CZ action (a 30-06 or even 6.6x55) be opened up to handle a magnum case just like we do a M98?

yes, and yes...
these aren't far enough away from mausers to handle them much differently, except the magbox is far easier on the CZ
