I brought home another treasure today and it had one of these on it (an old steel tube 4X). Is this used for ranging, or two aiming points? So, how do you use it, and how are the two stadia properly adjusted? I've never owned one of these before, but it raises some interesting possibilities. Oh, the rifle? Just another crappy old Husquavarna 98. Take care - Dan

The two horizontal wires are 6" apart at 100yds. Makes a decent rangefinder. It make work out that a 200yd zero on the top wire will put you very close at 400yds. Depends on the cartridge. I have this setup in an old K-10 and, believe it or not, a k-2.5.
