A work in progress for fellow AR member Bwanamrm. Getting down to the fine details now. Better photos in about a week.

I really like the sleek and racy lines of that stock, and your cheekpieces always look just right. Beautiful work.

But, it always bothers me when a G.33/40 ends up being anything other than a 7 x 57 Frowner

Why? They started as 8x57's. A 7x57 is really more at home in a Mexican SR 98. The extra mag length of the G33/40 is wasted on an intermediate length cartridge like the 7x57.

Very nice looking rifle Bill!

Nice looking rifle. Russell has a fine one on the way with that rifle. Hopefully he can find some suitable exotic place to test it out. Smiler

Guys,
Bill has done a great job on this rifle and I'm excited about the progress so far! Always wanted a .270 Jack O'Connor himself would be proud to carry and this one defintely fits the bill! Pardon the pun!

Looks great but Bill, you have to add a little bit more fill flash so that your shadows aren't so dark. Or use your computer and play with the contrast button on your photo software.

Beautiful work!!

24 LPI. Studs will be inlet later.

The finish is Permalyn sealer to start. Then Daly's Seafin wet sanded in. Hand rubbed coats of Dalys Seafin for the top coat. A little CCL will be applied before delivery.
