Just want to say thanks to Guy Malmborg of Lock, Stock and Barrel in Salt Lake City.

Back in the spring I bought a used CZ550 American in 9.3x62. Worked up 1/2 dozen different loads that were decent with a cool barrel but would climb and enlarge with a warmish barrel. It made determing which load to choose more difficult and harder to get an accurate hunting zero.

Well, Malm approached me here on the AR buy making suggestions. I called and we discussed options. I dropped it off to him since I work in the same city. He had it ready for me in about 3 weeks time. He free floated the barrel, saying it had a large amount of upward and sideways pressure from the factory wood stock. He also pillar bedded it.

With the same 6 powders, 3 of them throw .75 MOA groups. I settled on the Big Game load. It was throwing 3" groups and now only throws 1" groups but the velocity runs just a skootch under 2500 fps; my fastest load. This w/ the 286 gr Partition.

Needless to say, that load is on the pitching mound for my AK Grizzly hunt come this Sept 8th.

Thanks Guy!
