Do you guys like the parts by NECG and Dakota Arms in this regard? Total cost in Brownells is about $130 for the parts. Should be easy to install for qualified smiths? Considering them for a 300 H&H Douglas barrel.

I prefer to make quarter ribs from raw stock. The hooded, banded front ramps I use come from Precise Metalsmithing.

Echoing Jack's sentiment. The Dakota one is supposedly made for a particular contour and is not close. Liken it to a 95% inlet - 95% of the easy wood is gone, all of the hard stuff is still there staring at you.
