Can the trigger on the Savage Axis rifles be replaced with the "Accutrigger"? If not, what would be recommended to put a decent trigger on one of these?

I like the trigger by Rifle Basix, but a lot of companies make an after market trigger for the Savage. The Axis uses the same trigger as the 110 series.

You can't put an Accutrigger on a Savage that didn't originally come with one, so I don't think you can put one on your rifle.

If I remember correctly, the Axis can be fitted with an earlier 110 adjustable trigger, but not the accu-trigger. The Axis trigger can also be made adjustable by adding adjustment screws per the 110 trigger.
