Anybody built a rifle on one of these? I love the look of the wooden Remington 1100 stock on what's almost an AR-15 lower.

Those look great! I really like how the SCR looks. And the longer LOP for the stock.

Kind of reminds me of the Remington model 8's and model 81's, particularly with the wooden stock. But I think the synthetic stock is also really sharp.

Also love the side charging handle on the 22.

Maybe the democrats will like the looks of this better than the AR pistol grip. That really riles them up.

I think the original idea was to help folks in ban states. But I guess if they ban it by name, doesn't matter that it has fixed stock, no pistol grip, etc.

Maryland's a ban state, but any heavy barrel is exempt. Also, any non 5.56/.223 rifle. So the SCR doesn't really help or hurt, but looks great and I like a sporter stock on a semi auto rifle.

Neat! Who does that work?

Is the lever further forward on the BCG for the 6.5G and .300 BO than on the .22? I notice with the lever at the rear, it requires the slot to continue back a ways in the receiver.

In Illinois any semi-auto with detachable magazine is banned. Features or caliber make no difference. That's right, you can't buy a Ruger 10/22. And if you own one, you will need to register as one of those evil assault rifle owners. But what the hell, they will send all our tax dollars to Chicago so the scum can go buy gas to for their stolen car and drive down town and smash and grab and terrorize innocent folks that are foolish enough to go out on the weekend.

Sign me fed up with the BS in Illinois.

At Christmas time Flightlite had a sale so I bought a few BCG with the tail. I have 2 sidecock uppers and the bolt knobs and screws. It's just a matter of drilling/taping the BC in the right spot.
