A friend picked up this stock for me at a gunshow it was marked as fitting a 98 mauser, He had called and asked if I wanted it and I told him to snag it for me, I didn't really look it over to much just stashed it until I got around to working on the 358 norma I bought it for. However upon inspection, Its inletted for something else. I am not sure what it fits the screw spacing is just a bit too long for the model 98 and the mag box opening is significantly larger. Plus the tang is different. What else has the screw in the recoil lug? My first thought was a mag leingth mauser but wouldnt the tang remain the same? Here are some pics. I put it next to the mauser pic for reference in the first picture.

Let the buyer beware! again, I've always said that I'd like to write a book about the bullshit in gun business...But...I'd need a Peterbilt to deliver one volume.

Gun traders are worse then horse traders...and that's a fact..
