Not too many gunsmiths have such a tool.....you might want to find dealers of Okuma, Nakamura, Cincinatti, Mazak etc and ask them who they have sold such machines to.

Also try to google swiss screw machines and CNC bar feeders....these in 1 3/8" usually run well in excess of $200,000 new and are likely to be found in large cities only.

Thanks,

I have one in use now that takes 2" stock. About $1 Million for the machine. Too far away and too expensive to ship. Looking for someone who needs the work.

What exactly would you need machined that would require the use of a swiss?

I have to assume it's something other than those 3500 grain solids.....Am I correct?

It's OT, but I just visited the 2-bore site.

500+ lbs of recoil energy ???

I'm impressed.

We have several parts that are made on a Swiss. We DO make the solids on a very large Swiss. They can be made several ways as you would guess but the Swiss works best for finish.

Why the question? Do you have one?

Hey Warner Knucklehead!!!

You never gave me a quote!!! You gave me a guess.

REMEMBER THAT?!?!?

I'm paying $120.00 per hour plus materials right now for relatively simple work that you elected not to quote! I asked you to quote some blued dies which you show on your site. You never did that either.

Then you tried to post OUR copyrighted and patented drawings (which you were supposed to quote) on another forum. Got a copy of that thread too! You were going to give those to Ed Hubel - remember that? I do! Fortunately for you - you were too dumb to figure out how to get them out of your e-mail application.

I don't recall offering to contract any work to anyone here or anywhere else on a forum!

I asked who had the machine didn't I?!?!

Do you have one?! NO you don't do you!

Get where this is going BUBBA!!!

Macifej:

You are a perfect ASS HAT!

As I recall, I refered you to folks I know WITH Large Swiss machines who's capabilities and costs would be less than mine.!

So,

Do you think I give one flying fuck what you are? Or represent yourself to Be?

IF I recall, your request was for Copper solids. NOT quite the same as Brass or Bronze NOW is IT ?????

Your still a touch Hole.

Par for course. hillbilly

No you never referred me to anyone and if you could you would have done the professional thing and done it here instead of trashing me.

Don't recall representing myself as anyone to anyone here Einstein. You chimed in with the BS.

85-15 is copper from a machinist's perspective?!?!

Those cases and dies were made from copper too were they?!?!?

Bottom line is, if you can't or don't want to do the work speak up instead of getting pissy on a forum.

I've already had the parts made by different shops some of which were more expensive and some less than yours. This isn't about pricing it's about you mouthing off and getting busted!

All I can say is right on Macifej, someone has finally exposed Mr. Warner out for the a$$hoIe he is.
Back in 1991 I purchased one of his match rifle sights. I've fired perhaps 40K rounds with the POS over the last 16 years and the @(&%$@!)&%%$.sucker still throws wide 9's at 600. He sent me a complete small parts repair kit, & checked it out for free 2 years ago but I'm sure it's still not right. Just a month ago I set it up in a vise and it seems to track perfectly, but a week later the damned thing gave me screwed me out of a couple points on a 300 rapid. He just refuses to accept responsibility for these defects. He really needs to step up and provide a quality product to the shooting community before slamming your big assed bullet endeavor.

Don't know anything about the quality of his product because I never bought any of it (for obvious reasons). Maybe you should switch to 50 yard rapid!?!? You don't need no stinkin' sights! Just wait til the beastie gets REALLY close!
