Any solid recomendations on what Mauser actions to use, and if your telling me I need a Argentine do you have an extra one laying around.

VZ-24

So a factory 798 might not be a bad way to go.

vapodogin a VZ-24 one may want to trim the case back about 1/16th inch in order to seat 400 grain Hornady bullets to the cannelure to crimp them and still get them into the magazine unaltered!
At least I did!.....and yes.....I had it heat treated regardless of it's original state!

VZ-24
The magazine in my Vz-24 limits my reloads to a max overall cartridge length of 3.24"!
Is this long enough for a 416 Ruger?
