I would do a Blackburn custom bottom metal, he could do it as a drop magazine if you wanted to. The big thing if you talk to him and he has the cartridge drawings he could make the box and follower to fit the 9.3x64 and there shouldn't be any problems. If you want to go $$$ or if you want to go $$$$$$. You have lots of options. Where do you live? I would get on the US Custom Gunmakers guild website and call one of the members if you want to spend a lot, but have a great rifle.

I'd love to spend a lot, but am constrained otherwise. I have to stay with the factory mag set up for now. Gotta finance a hunt worhy of a 9.3x64, not the just the rifle...

I don't see a complex feeding issue. For shits & grins I just went over to the gun cabinet & grabbed the M70 Classic in 375H&H & put four 9.3x64 RWS 285gr round nose shells in the mag. They stacked nicely & fed without a hickup. Naturally I didn't try to close the bolt completely. Where do you live 9.3x62? Doug Humbarger NRA Life member Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club 72'73. Wisconsin. Well, the 375 feed is good news, so perhaps getting the 30-06 rails worked out towards a mag configuration would work out. I may have to swap followers, hmm, we'll see....

The 9.3X64 was designed to be able to feed from an 06 box. Do not expect Blackburn to build a specially designed box just for this one magazine. All of his designs require special tooling to hold the piece that is under construction. They will not run a box for just one that they have the tooling for, let alone design a new one that is just a tad larger than the 06.

Interesting you should mention this. The 9.3 bullet is getting (?) popular. I just talked about the finals on a project for a 9.3 x 66 with a client at the ACGG show in Reno. Jim Kobe 10841 Oxborough Ave So Bloomington MN 55437 952.884.6031 Professional member American Custom Gunmakers Guild
