I'm cleaning with Dicropan 909 before rust-bluing for the first time. It says 5 oz of detergent by weight per gallon of water. Is that about the same as 1/2 cup by volume?

About a 1/3 of a cup should suffice I would think . No means of weighing ?.

4.5 gallons to fill the cleaning tank. Reloading scale is good to about 2 oz. I guess I could measure out 12 measures.
