I also understand that L-W was making the barrels for the A-Square big bores, and Art Alphin was a devotee of the 10" twist for stability of solids in elephants (and other large critters). Those interested in a faster twist alternative in the calibers that A-Square was building can probably get them from Woodie @ L-W, I am "sourcing" my .458 Lott/10" twist barrels from him.
