Is a Blackburn unit worth the extra money over a Williams unit? What are the main differences in terms of function and fit?

I believe they are out of business. I found one NIB on another forum. Debating that over a Blackburn unit.

What is your end goal?

Having had both in my possession I would take Blackburn over Williams. The Williams were functional but noticeably looser in the floor-plate yoke and the latch engagement in the triggerguard. There’s also a few different variations of the Williams units out there. Blackburn units have a much tighter fit in these areas as received, but they need to be fit and finished by a competent individual.
