I just purchased a Browing BLR L model in 270, Its a long action straight grip rifle..I can find no reference to the proper bases, Checked Weaver, Leupold and Redfield but none stipulated a proper base...Anyone familiar with this model, its not mentioned at all.

does it have 4 base screw holes?

weaver detachable base #25,2 required. product #791-287 in midway book. millett turn in 2 piece # 197-208 for blr and bar. BLR lightning, post 96 leupold 545-313 gloss and 740-093 matte. now the numbers out of the midsouth shooters book.leupold one piece #154-49986. 2 piece base 154-50237. the last five numbers from the midsouth book are leupolds part numbers if you talk to them.

Ray i believe it is the lightning. listed the gloss and matte midway product numbers. hope this helps, took me a minute to understand which model.
