M1TankerI called Winchester Customeer Service parts dept to get mine. Brownells list a set but they no longer carry them.

butchlambertMr. Rick, I guess that I can't manuever through their website. I can't find the oval head countersunk socket head capscrews in stainless. Butch

Rick 0311Okay,
Then go to Brownell’s and punch in part # 910-491-220 and see what comes up.
These are not the ones pictured in their catalog but are direct Winchester replacements listed in the back of the catalog.
I punched it in and hit the buy button and it showed up in my shopping cart. If the item is out of stock or no longer available you normally get a message informing you of that.

Butch,
Brownells had the ones I told you about, didn’t they?

butchlambertRick, they said that they no longer had them. Butch

Rick 0311Butch,
That part came up on their web site as a good number???????
Try Matt Williams...he makes their bottom metal and would probably be able to get you some screws.
Midway also has them listed.
Brownell's shows 084-273-005 in a stainless for the model 70, only thing for some reason it comes with a phillips head while the Rem 700 come with a hex opening....

Rick 0311srt,
If you go to the back of Brownell’s catalog you will find a listing of factory parts that they carry. That’s where I found the stainless hexhead guard screws from Winchester.

butchlambertMr. Fireball, I just hate paying $5 ea. for them. Are the threads 1/4"x32? Butch
