Have a neat lil Black Aces 12ga Double Coach Gun relatively new and was shooting fine but last outing the single trigger was hanging up...had to be manually pulled forward to fire the 2nd barrel ?? Any suggestions as no local gunsmiths and hate to send it off if we don't have to....Thanks! "That's not a knife..THIS is a KNIFE" !

Take the butt stock off,,it's a simple through-bolt assembly. It's an easy take off as they sell/provide a pistol grip stock for assembly as well. The entire action stays intact in the frame with the stock removed. Then with the wood off you can cock and fire the action (dry fire!) and watch what is happening. If it works fine with the stock off,,then look at the inletting for an area that the internal parts are contacting and not allowing the trigger to return freely on it's own.

Very true. We see a lot of double guns in the shop that malfunction only when the stock is secured. Some designs depend heavily on frame geometry and if the wood to metal fit is off, the sears can get out alignment slightly. Enough to cause a problem.
