I have a Ithaca Lewis model shotgun. It was my dad's and I would like to have some work done on it. The issue is that it doubles when pulling the front trigger first, but not usually when you pull the back trigger first. I would just like to get it shooting safely. I realize parts can be an issue, but I have a complete "spare" action for the gun. Everything there except the stock and the barrels. Hope someone may be able to help me. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you have a "Flues" model Ithaca. Here is a link to parts: https://www.gunpartscorp.com/g...a/flues-model?page=2 Likely needs sear work if doubling. I see both sears are available. Also call SKB. Ask for "Don". He may be able to help as well.
