I recently purchased a used rifle marked "Crafted by R. E. Anderson of Laramie, Wyoming".

It is a beautiful rifle in 284 Winchester. Wood stocked with very nice checkering, even checkered where a grip cap usually resides. I would rate it 98%.

I could find nothing on this gentleman on Google. Just to satisfy my curiosity I thought I would reach out on this forum for anyone with information.

There was an Anderson who frequently had rifles in the custom gun section of Gun Digest back in the day. Seems like the 70's-80's if I recall correctly.
