Does anyone know where I can buy a small piece of rosewood? I am buying an H&R 300 Ultra rifle and someone "modified" the original grip cap by putting black and white spacers under it. I want to make a rosewood grip cap so that it looks original. Thanks!

Check with Richard's Microfit, they have a bunch of Rosewood stuff. They might send you a scrap if you paid the shipping or something. Would be worth a shot anyhow.

I havn't been very impressed with Richard's Rosewood. It is much too light for my tastes. If it were me I'd go to woodcraft.
