Nice old Round Ram machine. Don't get to aggressive with your cuts , and learn its eccentricities and you'll get a lot of work out of that old girl. It's 10 years older than my J head on a round ram. light cuts and don't run the spindle to fast. Oil up everything and have a good machine to do some decent work. Meaning they are an were designed for smaller more precise parts. Now if you want a work horse to plow of some huge cuts you're going to need a Gorton or a Lagun anything with box ways. on it. As a dovetail way is more precise the box ways are more rigid. Keep it in good shape and get your money out of it int a few years. www.KLStottlemyer.com Deport the Homeless and Give the Illegals citizenship. AT LEAST THE ILLEGALS WILL WORK | |||
