I just had one done; screwed an M-70 fitted 308 Win barrel to an MRC short action. The 'smith had to turn off the cone and most of the extractor cut but was able to save the chamber and headspace it with just a gauge, just like a pre-threaded long-chambered barrel. No reaming required.

Can't say a push-feed M-70 would but I bet the thread and pitch match too. Headspace will be off.
